I think we all heard about Rhinos being poached in South Africa the last couple of year. The number has been decreasing the last couple of years. Last year, 668 rhinos have been poached. Until now, as terrible as these numbers are, it hasn't been more than that- just numbers. But a week ago, I got notice from my former work at Umkwali Tented Bush camp. It's been almost a year since I last updated my journal! As you can see, my attempts of the "weekly picture" didn't go too well, the project group lost interest rather quickly, and so did I. Was worth a try, though! I haven't been taking as many pictures as I would have liked, but luckily I haven't entirely stopped and still go out every now and then. I even bought a new lens, Olympus 18-180 mm, f 3.5-6.3. In summer I plan on traveling again, not as far as I'd like to, but to Finland, England or Ireland, not sure which one it will be in the end. Most definitely I wanna travel Germany some more since there are some really pretty spots here

...for something completely different! First off, a delayed Happy New Year, I hope you're all well. One of my New Year's Resolutions, well, actually the only one, was to take more photos this year- I entered a little project of the well known "a photo per week"- sort, and I thought I might as well share the outcome with you. My personal goal for this project would be to improve my techniques and make the best of the situation I'll have to deal with, even though I'm not really interested in the topic.
